Circles in the sand
Last night was the conclusion of my last year as a single woman. Last night was the last new year that I will not remember your kiss. Last night was the conclusion of a lifetime leading up to the rest of my life.
Last night was the last day of the last year of my former self.
Today is the first day of a year full of changes, full of beginnings, full of endings, full of life, full of love, full of hope, full of my childhood wishes being granted and my high school fears being expelled.
Today is the first day of a year that I will never want to forget.
And, I cannot wait to share it with everyone.

Today is the third day of that year and I can already clearly see everything flowing and circling and making beautiful images in that sand.
